Being a therapist is to hold space for people as they work through psychological, emotional, and life challenges, while helping them recognize their full potential. Creating this kind of space allows individuals to openly explore vulnerable experiences and better understand how life events—including depression, anxiety, and trauma—may have shaped the way they think, feel, and relate to others. My approach to therapy is collaborative, viewing therapy as a journey, in which we move through together while exploring thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences with curiosity and compassion. Through this shared work, people can develop greater self-awareness, recognize patterns that may be keeping them feeling stuck in one place, and begin to discover their strengths and capacity for change. By supporting a deeper understanding and acceptance of one’s emotional world, therapy can become a path toward healing, growth, and moving closer to the life one hopes to build.
