Education & Training
Josh earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the California State University, Fullerton, and continued to graduate studies at the University of La Verne. There, he obtained a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. He has worked in university, private practice, community, and health settings, providing individual therapy, group therapy, and psychoeducation. His experiences include working with transitional-aged youth, adults, and older adults presenting with an array of concerns, including depression, anxiety, OCD, schizophrenia, Bipolar I and II, and ADHD, among many others. He emphasizes empathy, cultural humility, and meeting the individual needs of each of his clients in his clinical approach. He joined Downtown Mind Wellness in December, 2025.
